Get to Know Tricia:
Short and Sweet about me! I am a wife, mom and full time career woman. One of the most important things in life for me is my family. I have an amazing husband and son who are the center of my world.
I have been in the financial industry now for over 17 years and I Freelance Model on the side.
I have been modeling for a total of 15 years now, the first five years when I was younger with agencies and the last 10 years locally. I LOVE modeling and always have.
I love working with and meeting new photographers, hair and make up artists, designers, other models and all the creative people involved when working in this industry. Inspiration for me as model is the ability to be challenged by each and every photo shoot I am involved in. There is nothing more rewarding to me than being able to work with a team and being able to bring that concept/vision to life. The ability to portray or tell the story as a model and the confidence to connect with the camera and photographer so that others will be able to see this in the work we create. The ability to expand, learn, step out of comfort zones and be diverse each and every time I step in front of the camera is something I strive for!
Looking forward as a model in my 40’s I am still very ambitious. As I continue to freelance model, I want to maintain a respectful reputation as a mature model and be a role model for younger models. Integrity and honesty is very important to me and I would like to continue to be viewed as a timeless and a classy model while also promoting to ” to love the skin you are in” and that ” beauty is ageless“.
As far as modeling being inspirational I think there is nothing more rewarding to me than being able to work with a team and being able to bring that concept/vision to life. The ability to portray or tell the story as a model and the confidence to connect with the camera and photographer so that others will be able to see this in the work we create. The ability to expand, learn, step out of comfort zones and be diverse each and every time I step in front of the camera is something I strive for.
My all time FAV model since age 14 has been Cindy Crawford. A few of my favorite quotes by her :
The face you have at age 25 is the face God gave you, but the face you have after 50 is the face you earned.
“I’ve always found that beauty and confidence are synonymous. If you feel confident, that’s what people see.”
Life is where you’re at. Whatever you’re doing is enough. You don’t need to do everything well all the time. When you live your life like that, it’s a huge relief.
Other Favorite quotes:
“My mission in life is not merely to survive, but to thrive; and to do so with some passion, some compassion, some humor, and some style.” —Maya Angelou
Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma, which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. Steve Jobs
You gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which you really stop to look fear in the face. You are able to say to yourself, ‘I lived through this horror. I can take the next thing that comes along.’ Eleanor Roosevelt
